Artificial turf

Green all year. No mowing, no watering.

Artificial turf for play areas, dog runs, putting greens and those spots where real grass just won't grow. Installed on a real base so it drains fast and stays flat.

Where turf makes sense

Play areas and backyards

A soft, clean surface for kids all year, with no mud tracked in after a rain.

Dog runs

No more dead spots and muddy paws. Built to drain and rinse clean.

Backyard putting greens

Practice your short game without leaving the house. Custom shapes and fringe.

Shady spots

Under big trees where grass has given up. Turf doesn't need sun.

Hard-to-mow areas

Steep banks, narrow side yards and strips along fences and walls.

Commercial and sports areas

Courtyards, amenity areas and training spaces that need to look good with heavy use.

Built right underneath

Turf is only as good as its base

Cheap turf jobs lay it right on the dirt, and within a year it's lumpy, puddling and pulling apart at the seams. We dig out, lay a weed barrier, and compact a crushed stone base graded to drain. Then the turf is stretched, seamed, nailed and filled.

  • Drains fast, even in a Georgia downpour
  • Seams you can't spot from the patio
  • Clean edges against beds, walls and patios
Turf blades Infill for weight and cushion Seams nailed and glued Compacted crushed stone base, graded to drain Weed barrier over native soil

The upside, and the honest part

Why people love it

  • No mowing, watering, fertilizer or weed control
  • Green in January and in the middle of a drought
  • No mud, no bare spots, no dead patches from the dog
  • Lower water bills

What to know first

  • It gets hot in full summer sun. We'll talk placement and infill options that help
  • It costs more up front than sod, then saves money every year
  • It still needs an occasional blow-off and brushing to stay looking new

Turf questions

How long does artificial turf last?

A quality turf installed on a proper base typically lasts many years. How long depends on the product, sun exposure and how hard it's used.

Is it good for dogs?

Yes. We build pet areas to drain quickly, and they rinse clean with a hose.

What happens when it rains?

Water drains straight through the turf backing and into the stone base, so it's usable right after a storm.

How much maintenance does it need?

Very little. Blow off leaves, rinse pet areas, and brush it now and then to keep the blades standing up.
