A note on our plans
Custom, hand-drawn landscape plans
We draw custom landscape plans by hand for residential homes and for landscaping projects of every size, small to large. Each plan is drawn to scale for your property, its light, soil and slope, and comes with a complete plant list, so you can see your finished garden before the first shrub goes in the ground.
Your design fee is credited toward installation when our crews build the plan.

How it works
- Consultation
We walk the property with you and talk through how you want to live in it.
- Measure and study
We measure the site and note sun, shade, soil and drainage.
- Your hand-drawn plan
A scaled plan and plant list, refined with you until it's right. The design fee is credited toward installation.
- Installation
Our own crews build it, start to finish.

Is there a design fee?
Yes. Your custom plan has a design fee, and when we install the plan, that fee is credited toward the cost of installation.
Do you design and install?
Yes. The same team that draws your plan installs it, so nothing gets lost between the drawing and the finished garden.
Can you design for a large property or commercial site?
Yes. We draw plans for everything from a single front bed to estate properties, multifamily and commercial sites, and we can have drawings engineer-certified when a project requires it.
Can the plan be installed in phases?
Yes. A good plan lets you build the garden over time. We can mark out what to install first and what can follow in later seasons.
Will you work with my builder or architect?
Yes. We regularly work alongside builders and general contractors, from new construction to renovations.
