Landscape lighting

Your yard looks great at 2 p.m. Now make it look great at 9 p.m.

Low-voltage LED lighting that shows off your house, trees and hardscapes after dark, makes paths and steps safe to walk, and keeps the property from sitting in the dark.

Designed, not just installed

The right light in the right place

Good lighting is subtle. A few well-placed fixtures on a big tree, the front of the house and the path to the door do more than a row of bright lights ever will. We plan every fixture around how you use the space and what you want to see from the street and from the patio.

What we light

Uplighting

Light aimed up into trees, columns and the front of the house for that high-end look from the street.

Path and walkway lights

Soft light along walks and drives so guests can find the door and nobody trips.

Step and wall lights

Small fixtures built into steps, seat walls and retaining walls. Best added while the hardscape is going in.

Patio and outdoor living

Lighting for patios, pergolas, fire pit areas and outdoor kitchens, so the evening doesn't end at sunset.

Security and driveway

Lighting the dark corners, side yards and driveway so the property never sits in the dark.

Timers and smart controls

Automatic dusk-to-dawn timers, or app control so you can adjust from your phone.

Why it's worth it

Curb appeal after dark

Your house is the best-looking one on the street, day and night.

Safer steps and paths

Light where people walk, especially on steps and slopes.

More time outside

Patios and fire pits get used long after the sun goes down.

How it works

  1. We walk the property

We talk about what you want to highlight and where you need light to walk safely.

  2. We design the layout

Fixture types, placement and wiring planned out, with a written price.

  3. We install

Low-voltage wiring buried out of sight, fixtures set and aimed, transformer and timer installed.

  4. We aim it at night

We come back after dark to fine-tune the angles so it looks exactly right.

Lighting questions

Is LED lighting expensive to run?

No. Low-voltage LED fixtures use very little power, so a whole-yard system usually adds only a little to your electric bill.

Can you add lighting to my existing patio or wall?

Often, yes. It's easiest during construction, but we can usually add fixtures to existing hardscapes too.

Do I need an outlet outside?

The system runs off a transformer that plugs into an exterior outlet. If you don't have one in a good spot, we'll let you know what's needed.

Light it up.
